Eastleighwood was founded in Nairobi, Kenya in 2011. The Organization seeks to transform lives and livelihoods through arts, media, capacity building such as interactive workshops/ forums.Eastleighwood now has branches in Nairobi with its field operations in Eastleigh, Mandera, Wajir, and Garissa in Northeast Kenya. And has a satellite office in London and in Mogadishu seeking to expand to other cities includingKisyamu and Gedo in southern 



  • 2012-2013   Role model project using video and Films.
  • 2013-2015Youth for Peace project on strengthening youth resilience against radicalization and violent Extremism.
  • 2016  Sustained Dialogue – six months’ project to prevent youth radicalization and strengthen resilience against violent extremist during elections.
  • 2016  Somali Cultural day “Bring together Somalis and Non-Somalis.”
